I and my two friends went to the Barcelo Tucancun in September 2005 for two weeks. It was excellent. The rooms were cleaned daily and were always done very well. The maids brought a newspaper to you door every morning. The food was very good and varied. The staffs were all very polite. The entertainment staffs were excellent and work very hard to keep everyone amused. They organized games by the "party pool" every day from about 10: 00am until 4: 00pm. These included water polo, beach volleyball, aqua aerobics and even bingo! Every night the entertainment staffs take you to a different nightclub in Cancun which is well worth doing as you get to enjoy a lot of different places. The location of the hotel is perfect and the beach is beautiful. The hotel has something for everyone from singles to families to honeymooners. We enjoyed it so much we have booked to go back next year.
