We stayed in this hotel couple of month back and it was one of the best accommodations we ever stayed. The lobby was lovely, nicely decorated and clean. Our room was a suite with a king bed, nice furniture, a wet bar including a fridge, coffee maker and others. Dark granite counters really made it feel rich. The marble tile bathroom included a large stand up glass enclosed shower as well as a huge jacuzzi tub. The staff was friendly and met all of our requests. We were greeted graciously by name in the restaurant and had a really nice meal. Not anything to write the food network about, but quality and the prices were very reasonable. Really it was a great experience of staying there. All in all, a great experience and we would like to recommend hotel who want a good accommodation in Independence.
