The city of Colorado Springs is a part of the Colorado state, which is located in the Rocky Mountain region. The city is blessed with natural beauty and has a couple of landmark spots such as the Garden of Gods and Pikes Peak.
The Garden of Gods is a park which consists of unique rock formation made of sandstone, having tilted layers. Due to it unusual formation, its discoverer’s believed that the area is an ideal place for gods to assemble, and hence the park is called Garden of Gods. Other than the Garden of Gods, there is yet another place which is an important source of attraction of a large number of tourist and that is the Pikes Peak Mountain. This mountain is located in the western part of the city and exceeds 14,000 feet above sea level.
