The boom started with the gushing out of oil – it was a dizzy era of wheeling and dealing. The fortunes of Fort Worth again took a dip when an F2 Tornado lashed through it. Today there are art museums apart from a Cowgirl Museum, the only one of its kind in the world, dedicated to brave women of America’s West. Fort Worth has a science and history museum as well as an equestrian and entertainment centre. Fort Worth has a humid subtropical climate where temperatures vary from the very high to minus degrees in winter accompanied by light snowfall. It is a relatively safe city. Visiting Fort Worth?
