For me Hampton Inn Madison Sq. Garden was a very pleasant surprise. A great manager and staff only added to a sleek, sensibly chic comfortable room with great bed and pillow and a fun stay. Guestroom had a sleek and quiet bathroom with strong shower and nice toiletries. The hot breakfast was very good, offered variety of choices and reminded me of hotels I have enjoyed in Europe, especially Venice and Amsterdam. 24 hour coffee and tea facility, including coffee machines in the room Wide screen cable TV and movie channels made late nights cozy and inexpensive after the expense of dinner and Broadway shows. So the final conclusion is that stays her and be pleasantly surprised at what you get.
