I have just returned home from a 2 night stay at the Milford Plaza. Like others I was a little skeptical after reading some of the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised after arriving. They checked me in at 12 noon and after going up to my room I found a small, clean room. Very comfortable bed, no street noise, good shower and soft towels, I like it. Yes the rooms are a little small, but the location can’t be beat, the desk & security staff was nice. Only one best was the beautiful lady on the information desk who seemed too active to book me a return transfer to the airport and told me cost of taxi would be $28, same as the transfer, taxi cost me $40. This was a nice stay and I think in my next trip to New York I would like to stay in this hotel, except I will get a better option.
