What a find in the heart of Manhattan! Right around the corner from Macy's and Madison Square Garden this hotel has a lot to offer. Nice size rooms even for our family of four (2 adults and 2 teenagers). Not the greatest views, but for the price the rooms are clean and comfortable and the hotel is in close proximity to public transportation. Don't let the side street scare you at night-it's just half a block from the main arteries and we felt safe walking back at night from Fifth Avenue and the theatre district. There are two computers that are very accessible. One on the second floor overlooking the lobby and the one on the lower level is less busy. Also, the breakfast was very good with a nice selection to choose from and great coffee! The staff is especially helpful and very accommodating. We will definitely stay here again.
