Hotel Excelsior located in Nice is one of the vintage hotels of that area this hotel was built in 1898 with all the pomp and show of the French society. Today it still stands in the same place with the same grandeur it stood hundred years ago. The hotel is located one and a half kilometers from the harbour. The hotels interiors are not only exquisite but also one in its kind in this world in design, the hotel has a lovely garden inside the hotel with a small pond in between. Those who don’t enjoy being on the inside can go out for a walk to the Chagall Museum which is located just five hundred meters from the hotel. The old city of Nice and the local flower market is also very close by. The interior of the hotel is done in very bright colors and there is an effort put to combine both wood with metal to give it a very chic look. The only back draw of the hotel is that its rooms are very small in size and at times if you are used to large spaces it can get very choking. The beds are comfortable but yet small in size. Rests of the hotel amenities are up to date, its staff is multilingual and the hotel also provides for medical assistance in case of emergency. One visit to this hotel and you will be sure to come back to it. .
