We stayed in the Best Western Aulivia Opera in our Christmas vacations in December, 2007. There were a few characters outside the hotel, but we just ignored them. I suspect that we had less of a problem with this because of the cold weather. There may be more in the summer. The hotel was very well appointed. The hotel room was perfect with all possible facilities. The hotel staff was very cordial and well behaved. The Paris is wonderful city and has many things to explore but most of the city attractions are very close to the hotel. The location is easy to access from the airport, only one stop on the metro from Gare du Nord. This is one of the best budget hotels in Paris, which is very adequate and quiet enjoyable. We really liked the hotel and would like to recommend it to future visitors of the Paris.
