If you are really want to stay in decent accommodation during your Portland visit, Avalon and Spa will be the right choice. I wanted a same place to stay during my last month visit. Hotel was not too expensive and very well located. The room was quite large and well appointed. Room had great bed, comfortable sofa, television with cable connection, and beautiful view of the Willamette. The most appreciated part of the hotel was its courteous staff. The hotel staff was really very supportive and friendly with wonderful services. The breakfast was good. Hotel is located little away from the main city center but well connected. But many important attraction of the Portland are well access from the hotel. The restaurant attached to the hotel offer wonderful and tasty cuisine with reasonable price. I personally like the hotel a lot and would like to recommend it to all future visitors of the Portland.
