Edmonton is the capital of Alberta and is located in the central region of Alberta. The city has the most fertile farmland area and the second largest city of the province. The city has the lowest population in North America and serves as the northern anchor of Calgary-Edmonton Corridor. Edmonton is Canada’s center for culture, education and government aspects. Year round excellent festivals were held in the city, thus gaining the title as the Festival City. It is the abode of the largest mall in America, which is the West Edmonton Mall as well as the largest museum in the history of Canada, the Fort Edmonton Park. Despite of the economic downturn, Edmonton surprisingly survives. Developments are on going and the job market is doing well. |
