Washington, D.C. is ascribed to as the permanent national capital of United States.The residents total to roughly 600,000 but during the workweek the city accommodates close to a million inhabitants.
Washington DC possesses a humid subtropical climate with four distinct seasons typical of Mid-Atlantic areas in the United States which are removed from bodies of water. The combination of heat and humidity in the summer causes frequent thunderstorms while winter brings sustained cool temperatures. Fall and spring are generally mild.
