The Capitol Inn in Troy is one medium sized hotel which is located seven miles from the Montgomery airport and a miles distance from Alabama archives and history museum, the Alabama war memorial is about a kilometer away from this hotel. The hotel building is a modest medium sized building very neat in its environment and has a small grass lawns in its front, from the very look of the hotel one can say its no where near a five star in lavishness and grandeur, however I was surprised to see that the interiors of the hotel was well maintained by its staff. The bed rooms of the hotel are nicely carpeted and neat and clean, the rooms are medium sized with color television and sofas to sit on, and the furniture is obviously not antique or very expensive. Even the hotel rates are pretty modest and affordable. The dinning area is marked with simple table and chairs but it is systematically arranged. The hotel however is not pet friendly at all and follows a strict no pet policy. The staffs of the hotel are very nice and helpful and will be there at your service when ever you need them. This hotel is for certain a good budget hotel. .
