With respect to territory; Fiji consists of an archipelago of about 332 islands. Of these islands only about 110 islands are inhabited.
In spite of the many number of island, not all of them are frequented by tourists. Viti Levu is the main and largest island in the whole Archipelago; followed by the islands of Vanua Levu and Taveuni.
Taveuni is the habitat of the world renown Tagimoucia flower. Yasawa islands are also another tourist hotspot in the north western region of Fiji.

Suva is the capital of Fiji. It is famous for its Suva Municipal Market; the specialty about this market is that – almost every existing tropical fruit is available here in abundance.
The handicraft markets of Suva are also highly frequented by tourists. In fact many tourists are able to successfully negotiate the prices in these markets and they often walk out with plenty of Fijian handicraft souvenirs, straw goods and carvings made of wood.
These regions also have many cheap Fiji hotels and the more luxurious Fiji hotels that cater to tourists.
Nadi is the town that enables easy access to all the other tourist hotspots in Fiji. Hence this is a very busy town and most importantly this town contains the Nadi International Airport.
Other famous hotspots in Nadi are the Hindu Temple, Wailoaloa Beach, Newton beach and the Nadi Garden of the Sleeping Giant.
